Tech Tuesday with Linköping University ISY: How do quantum computers (actually) work?
Quantum computers promise large speed-ups for different specific tasks in computing. This session will provide you with an overview of what quantum computers are, what they do, and how they work, from an algorithmic perspective. We will start with some basics, continue through some quantum computer algorithms, and finally look at the algorithms’ inner workings. Jan-Åke Larsson, Professor and Head of Department at Electrical Engineering, Linköping University, will be sharing some of the most recent research and updates.
